Check your payroll calculator settings for July 2026
CRA’s PDOC includes mid-year provincial changes. The pay date matters.
What changed
CRA states that PDOC has been updated for July 2026, including changes affecting British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. Use the actual payment date and the correct province of employment.
What to do
Review payroll software updates and compare a relevant pay calculation with the official tool. Québec provincial income tax, QPP and QPIP require Revenu Québec guidance. PDOC output is not a complete employee pay statement.
